Patna, Sep 30 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has constituted a high-level committee aimed at addressing the long-standing concerns of the state's unaided teachers.
The Chief Minister congratulated the teaching community, describing the move as a crucial step toward strengthening Bihar’s education system and improving educators' welfare.
Sharing the information, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary stated today that the committee will function under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary.
Choudhary confirmed the committee will conduct a thorough and regular review of all matters related to providing establishment grants to aided and unaided educational institutions, Sanskrit schools, and madrasas across the state.
The committee will also oversee salary payments and other related aspects for teaching and non-teaching staff in these institutions. Choudhary noted that this decision ensures unaided teachers, who have been demanding proper pay structures for years, will now receive salary benefits and other entitlements.
The initiative is expected to bring much-needed financial stability to thousands of educators across Bihar.
